I'm thinking of starting a new "idisk" that I will call 68kdisk (yeah, yeah I know...) I need to know if this redirect works, and how many people would be willing to use it, it's also web accesable so you can put hamepages there to .

Okay, just figured out what I was looking at.


afp://68kdisk.no-ip.com creates an Apple talk type of enviroment.


http://www.68kdisk.no-ip.com will open up in your browser as a normal web site. A nice lookng one at that.

Current Mac's:
Mac Plus, SE30, Classic, LCII, (2) LC550, Centris 650, 7100/80, Performa 6214, PB2300c Duo w/dock, G3/400 "Shine On" [;-)]

Yes right now i'm taring everything( iThink it is a bug in apache that it will open sit files as text in the browser, not download them.

I get a network error on iCab when I to try access the iDisk, it doesn't seem to work.

I got "Error 1" in the Connect to Server box in the OS X finder. The server wasn't found with OmniWeb.

it isn't found in network browser in OS9.2 ether... about that list, I don't know if you have checked my reply yet, but I would accept the CC and the LC+an HD of some kind.

It should work now, somehow file sharing got turned off, sorry boredem, I don't have any hds what are the specs on the monitor?

I just got in, pretty spiffy and really nice response. I'm using Mac OS 10.1.4 or 5 (dont wanna look). Thanks a bunch, hope it works out long term!

P.S.- The 68kmail thing is working beautifully as of now just fyi for others that want to try, its kinda related to this.
