I've got a model II, I think. 128k ram. I don't really know enough basic to do anything useful with it, though. The color is pretty, I'll say that, and it is childishly simple to make the thing play sounds!{ candyPunk } { Captain of Observation, 68k MLA } { 68k Macs liberated: 3} { My baby: Q660av } |

I just got a "Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer 2" I got it for $1US at a shop in town around my grandma's house. I don't have the adapter to hook it up to the TV though. I think I've got one at home that might work. I hope I can use this thing. It would be awesome. Too bad I don't have a bootdisk or does it need one?_________________ Leutennant SCCHICAGO HotLineServer(closed): scchicago.dynodns.net Website(closed): http://scchicago.dynodns.net MyForumOnDelphi: http://forums.delphiforums.com/scchicago NOTE:HL AND HTTP SERVER ARE ONLY AVAILIBLE WHEN I'M ONLINE |

The III has a monitor built in? Huh. Scchicago: isn't it just an rca cable? RF modulation is necessary, I believe, but you can just plug the rca into your VCR{ candyPunk } { Captain of Observation, 68k MLA } { 68k Macs liberated: 3} { My baby: Q660av } |

There are two different kinds of Trash80, IIRC. There is the regular TRS-80 (Model I, Model III, etc.) and there is the CoCo (the one that hooks to the TV; three variants were made).Official 68kMLA Music and NeXT Expert OpenStep Page at http://openstep.topcities.com/ Macs Liberated: SE (2), IIsi, Quadra 700, 6100, PB 5300, PowerMac 5400/200, Performa 6400/180 PCs liberated from Windoze: 3 |
