I've got a model II, I think. 128k ram. I don't really know enough basic to do anything useful with it, though. The color is pretty, I'll say that, and it is childishly simple to make the thing play sounds!

I just got a "Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer 2"
I got it for $1US at a shop in town around my grandma's house. I don't have the adapter to hook it up to the TV though. I think I've got one at home that might work. I hope I can use this thing. It would be awesome. Too bad I don't have a bootdisk or does it need one?

The III has a monitor built in? Huh. Scchicago: isn't it just an rca cable? RF modulation is necessary, I believe, but you can just plug the rca into your VCR

There are two different kinds of Trash80, IIRC. There is the regular TRS-80 (Model I, Model III, etc.) and there is the CoCo (the one that hooks to the TV; three variants were made).
