Who's had experience with this OS? Is it a decent Linux build? Are there good resources for it? Anything anybody has?

Okay, but do any of you have actual personal experience with it?

A little bit. I haven't had much time recently, but I've been trying to learn. That site was for the "resource" you asked for. Very easy instructions on how to install. It's no where near as simple as a mac, let me tell you. Reminds me of DOS. Bleh. Once you get it going, though, it's interesting. I've been looking at tutorial websites and stuff.{ candyPunk } { Captain of Observation, 68k MLA } { Macs liberated: 6 } { My baby: Q660av } |

So it only has a command line interface? There is no GUI available, like an old version of KDE or Enlightenment?

what would be really cool would be a nice step by step on how to install linux68k with some sort of GUI (if in existance). A staple on our site, no doubt. Now all we need are some mac/linux people...FireWire is fast General, 4 star Forum moderator 68k Macintosh Liberation Army |
