I don't know whether its AOL,Windows,IE or what!!! I haven't been able to access the MLA forum!!! I try and try every day to every other day. It worked once almost a month ago, then stopped. It works now and I hope it will continue to work until I get home from this dreaded place.

I had a similar problem a while ago.

I have now very happily ditched IE.

I found that I was unable to access certain pages that I had regularly accessed. I believe I know what the problem was.

I once went to http://www.lycos.com(I was using it for my email), but the page didn't load, I think the Lycos server was temporarily down.

Well IE decided that the page reporting that the site was down was the page I was looking for.

I deleted all cookies, hisory & cache, but to no avail. I cleared my computer of IE & reinstalled but still this occured. I tried again & again to delete IE & reinstall, after somthing like the 5th time I suddenly had access again.

my only moral here is "don't trust IE" & " don't trust a pc"

I certainly have a big problem with them & am prejudiced against them.

OK, this is definately an AOL problem!
I got on one of those free ISPs (JUNO) and I get on the forum without a hitch with my same setup. Netscape isn't working. Opera just dosen't cut it in case you want to tell me to ditch IE.
