I have a star 2 mac portables and a mac II and a centris 650 and a beige G3 AIO and a PM7500 G3/400 (which i plan on selling)!! MUAHAHAH! ok thats enough. one thing I am wondering is, is the macintosh portable's PSU part of the charging logic, therefore making it so you would fry your portable if you used any other charger (like the newton) or can you use any old PSU with 7.5V 2Ah output? just a thought... I am bored, so i am just typing to take up time and space... just typing and typing... typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typing typo I wonder why we exist... is it to save all the 68K computers that are becoming garbage every day? is it to eat bagels with arlic cream cheese? or are we just a virus on this single cell, eating and pollutingit, until we can go to another cell and pollute and kill it... what if each individual quark was a universe... what if I filled up all of the space on the 68KMLA server with this message? hmmm... should I try that? nah... too much like work, and I have had enough of that today! I got them from the man who maintains www.macswapshop.com! they are fun, but the PSU is flakey, and I expect it to die any day... oh well. they run off of the PSU as long as there is no HD or modem plugged in, if you do not have a working battery, that is! i have both models too, which is good. I am tired, and will now sleep. G'night all! THnX "she keeps hiding in the bathtub..."

boredomconquersall Full Member Canada 613 Posts	Posted - 26 Jul 2002 : 11:28:16 ummmm... coxy? how many posts do I hafta have in able to... a) be a full member and/or b) have my own channal, or be one of the mediators of, for example, THE POWERBOOK CHANNAL! hint hint -wink wink- ~nudge nudge~ hehehe. one allways hased to dream or one would get depressed and would kill themselvs when they turn 18. my backlit portable will now boot up with the following specs: mac OS 6.0.4 2MB ram 2 disk drives NO BATTERY INSTALLED! yes! it boots and runs (with a few minor querks, like sometimes the chooser bombs the system, or whenever I unplug it I lose all my settings in the control panel...) MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! I will now go play spectre on my dual floppy portable. THnx "get ready! get set! MULCH!"
