i found a Coleco Adam and a Laser 386SXT at the local thrift today! haven't decided to go back yet. how does $10 for each sound? the manager wouldn't give me the Laser for $5, i coul;dn't bring myself to pay more than that for a 386SX!i'm thinking an expanded Laser 128 (//e//c clone) mobo/386SXT and a microquadra installed in the Laser 128! that might be fun! jt ™. Ahhhh, that brings back memories... My first computer. Two flavors of that one. Mine was added to the ColecoVision game console - gad was it big! The other essentially had a ColecoVision built into it. Power supply was in the daisy-wheel printer. If you don't have that, give it up. The ADAM isn't too bad, as long as you have storage media for it (tapes). While it uses an AppleSoft compatible BASIC (also loaded from tape), it will not work with Apple programs. It's also capable of running CP/M with a floppy drive, which was a rare add-on. Parts for it may be still available. ---------------- Under the hat...
