Hi, The title says it all. Is there a PDS Card which can give me TV pics on my Mac ? I know there was a Mac in 94 which had it, but I think it was only NTSC. I am intrested in PAL... I will thank info on the subject. The Godfather.

The PDS AV card from the 6100AV had S-video input. The AV cards from 7100AV and 8100AV had S-video and RCA inputs as well I think. This would allow you to capture video from a TV, VCR or video camera. But It won't act as a TV tuner. The only tuner card I know of is the Apple TV/Video system which works with Performas and goes in a special slot. It wouldn't work in a PDS slot, but there might be a hack to make it work. mathgeek 68K Macs Liberated: LC, Performa 636, Mac Classic II My Powerbook 1400 page http://www.its.caltech.edu/~dgoulet/1400 |

not if you want it for the 630!over on fritter, blackstealth just said the video-in system for the 6500/630 tuner slot works fine with PAL input. you'll still need a tuner, but an old VCR or cable box should be a lot easier to find than a specific PDS tuner/video in card for PAL i would think. jt ™.
