Just wanted to let you good folks know that iTunes 3 just trashed most of my custom playlists! Arrrgh! Please, if you value your playlists, wait till this bug is ironed out!

Aaaaak! Not only does it seem to have nuked half of my playlists, but the songs that were in them are gone! Arrrrrgh! The playlist titles are still there, but there aren't any songs listed in them, and I can't find the MP3's on my drive anywhere!!! What the hell is going on!?!
Arrrrrrgh!

Poor SpaceBoy...

<gives SpaceBoy a big hug>

I know how you feel! Even though I only have a little over a Gig worth of mp3's, I thought I lost them all when one of my hard drives failed. But, it turned out that it wasn't the one with all the mp3's, is was the one with all my design applications.

I know this could be worse- my PowerBook could be dead or something... but still, this is driving me nuts!! It's bad enough that most of my custom playlists are empty, but now it's looking like a lot of my songs have been vaporized. I just don't know what to think... I guess it was about time for me to get screwed by an Apple update- I've been too damn lucky for too damn long.
I'm gonna go kick some puppies and scream at old ladies for a while.
Grrrrrr...

Hey, at least QT6 is working great! I've already got QT6 Pro running on my 7500.

That's odd... for some reason, I had no problems with iTunes 3... it decided to redo all my preference settings and put me through that whole "setup assistant" business when I first launched, but at least I didn't lose anything... that's really odd...

Well, that goes along with Jaguar's Quartz graphics core, right?

That is cool, though. If I upgrade my 7500 to X and use iTunes 3, I might actually better than 12fps!!
