Well, after witnessing the corporate suicide of apple this morning, i'm beside myself. Lack of hardware advancements have yet again put apple a step behind the rest. It's an unfortunate mistake that they've made and i'm sure it will be understood months down the road. NO NEW HARDWARE and NO PRiCE drop is a huge problem. I doubt that the pc world is going to "switch" for integrated iApps for 3 times the price of a pc. Apple's only innovation that i see is it's struggle for survival.

hello, my name is andrew and i'm a recovering mac user.

What do you mean, no new hardware? The 17" iMac is new!

I didn't really expect anything else, anyway. Hell, I can't even remotely afford anything new, so it doesn't make any difference to me...I'm just trying to save up $200 for a G3 500MHz card for my 7500.

Oh, and, apple has comitted corporate suicide about a dozen times before...but that hasn't stopped 'em!

So the powermacs are a little delayed big whoop. The iMac is now an unstoppable deal, pc users can buy the iPod and the extra iApps are a bonus. The only thing you can really complain about is .mac and its time to face the fact that the free internet era is long dead. Show me a company giving away free internet disk space and ill show you three bankrupt ones.
