Ok Guys heres the deal, I have a Performa 475, been upgraded to a full 68k. with a 12" colour monitor. I just discoverd that my warcraft cd has a version for the mac on it! But alas, I install, and run and it tells me that I need a monitor that can run 256 colours @ 640x480, OH NO! I know that I can do 256 colour, I have it in thousands of colours now. Now what I want to know is If I can some how Trick it in to forcing the resolution that i need. I realy don't want to get a new monitor as I am just a Poor colage student, but If It has to be maybe some one could tell me how to get one that works cheap [maybe free!?] I also have a PC monitor that im not using, is there any way I gould Gehto rig that to work? thanks, ~Don Graziano Poor Strugling mac Newbie |

That 12" monitor is a boat anchor (or a good monitor for a server).Get a mac-vga adapter for the pc monitor and use it, as long as it has a 14" or larger screen... yup, with the proper Mac-VGA adapter it'll do everything from what you're running now thru 2-page display, whatever is the max. it can do on a PC.welcome to the 68kMLA, by the way! jt ™.
