As I wandered around the net... I find a...Sonnet Twinslot LC! (page is in japanese, though babelfish doesn't convert too well...) http://homepage2.nifty.com/56thWAREHOUSE/COMPACTMAC/TWINSLOTLC.html Looks to be an extra-height top cover, along with a card that fits over the top of most of the motherboard, giving two PDS slots. Whoever's photographed this also added a daystar card of some kind to one of the slots - leaving one free for adding ethernet or... other stuff. neato dana |

COOL! that ugleeeeeeeee thing just needs a black paint job and/or a borg motif!i like the zero-slot adapter that ~coxy was talking about recently and that fw added to the PDS Republic page a lot better because it uses the original lid (?) on the IIsi to do almost the same thing. http://homepage.mac.com/mla68k/zeroslot.jpg the LC slot is much harder to do anything with because of the height restriction and the oddball orientation of the connector scheme on all the cards designed for it. this is really interesting, thanks, dana! btw: there's a funky SE/30 adapter to break out two or three connectors to be added too! i've got a crappy pic from the .jp site where i found it. add this one and PDS multipliers becomes a genre of its own! jt  ™.
