I'm assuming that you have no problems with the physical connection. I.E. you can plug the AAUI into your network somewhere (??) If not, then you'll probably need a transeiver - a plug thingy that converts AAUI to 'standard' ethernet.
You'll need to install Open Transport to get all the newtworking bits working correctly, and you should be able to find it if you take a mosey over here. You should probably upgrade to System 7.5.5 and I think that OT may even be included in that (no batteries though so you'll have to buy them seperately)
Should be fairly easy to work out once you've got all the bits.
cheers Flash!
PS. Quick question - I've just had a look at your site (server is currently off) and how do you do that re-direct from your homepage.mac.com page?

I think I'll try to get 7.6 somehow.
The redirect is this:
(html)(head)(title)Redirecting..................(/title)(meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="1; URL=http://216.130.83.218")We are redirecting you to my website: If you can't get to it try again later my server might be off.---danny :)(body)(/body)(/html)
Just replace the ( ) with < > This is an example from my site so you get the picture. :)

It's been a while since I've played with System 7.x.x so I had to do a quick installation to refresh my memory And I mean quick. I've got a 100MB RAM disk on my 8600/G3 - gotta love the fast transfer rate! Anyhoo i was using the 7.5.3 installer that I downloaded from here some time ago. If you do a Custom Install you can choose Open Transport as an option. Or you can download OT 1.1.2 which is about 7meg compared to 20 something....
Ultimately what you are after (and what the installers will install ) is a bunch of Open Transport Librarys, a couple of Ethernet Extensions... and the TCP/IP Control Panel. I think the installer adds some resources to the System file as well, so even if you get the individual Extensions and Control Panels by other means and drop them into your System Folder, it may or may not work.
