I got Civilization from mac.theunderdogs.org and am having some trouble with it on my Performa 200 (aka Classic II). I'm new to all Civilization games so I'm sorry If my question may seem stupid to those with more Civ. experience. The big window to the right is white with nothing in it. When I click on certain areas I can see some graphics in there and then they start to disapear in a couple of seconds after clicking on them. Shouldn't the big window on the right have the graphics for the world on it? I'm I doing something wrong or is my version of Civ. just messed up.I have the B&W Graphics Data file in the Civ. folder so I don't think that's the problem.

I'm trying to remember playing civ on an SE....aren't the unrevealed parts of the map white and the rest black? Great game, but I only play it in color, so don't take my word for this.

It is the main window that is messed up. I'm just playing the game on my iBook (it may not be 68k but colour sure is a beuatiful thing). I got the CivHack extension to make the game work with OS 9.
thanks anyways
