I almost had a PB 160, but it slipped out of my hands. At the last minute, my hopes for a $30 PB were dashed. Why must people with more money than me bid in eBay? -sniff-Sgt. Tallgeese

First, to GG:  Second... after losing two 160s and a 140 on ebay, I finally got to be high bidder on a PB 165! Woo-hoo!! It says it includes AC adapter and battery, and it claims to be working... finally, a portable to call my own..

My most recent eBay score: 2 Q800 mobos and a Q840av mobo all for $12! He says he's not sure if the 840av works, as he gets no video, but I'll see what I can do with a new video card. The possibility of having a working 840av is worth the cost of the card. I'll need a casing and power supply whether I use the 840av or 800 anyway. Not being one to sit on my successes... next target: AAUI to RJ45 adapter for my Quadra 700. If anyone wants to sell me theirs for a ridiculously cheap price so we keep it in the family so to speak, let me know...(okay, maybe this should go in "Trading Post" but I'm still thinking about the conquest i made)

I only paid like $5 for mine. You can get them cheap, trust me. eBay is cool for that, don't buy a brand new one from asante or anything.{ candyPunk }
