If it is a prototype, I am skeptical... It would have been in a clear case or had it's prototype name written on it (Batman?). If not then it is a very late prototype, maybe made a few weeks before release.------------------

i doesn't show a picture of it starting up, or a picture of the prototype sticker. if it doesn't go too high it might be worth having, but i'm skeptic._______________________

It would also be interesting to see a picture of the back. Given that the front says "Newton" rather than "MessagePad", then it should date from the time when this was the "Newton NotePad" as would be denoted on the back. <<<john>>>
