I unfortunately had to go to my uncle's funeral today (it was a blessing. He had been sick for a while). Any way My brother called me over to his van and said he had something that he thought I would like to play with. He then pulls out an emate with the power cord and all the owners manuals. I was going nuts!!! I have been wanting one just to check out but never thought I would get one because there is always something else that takes priority! So G'day eMate!!!!

sorry about your loss....

and i'm sorry that i'm going to have to take your emate from you . I was bidding on a few of those last week, but never won. They are sweet. I've never seen on in person, but i've been obsessed about them for years. I bet you can get tons of girls with that. Get the macintalk app and have it lay lines, like "baby, are you tired? because you've been running around in my ARM (tm) all day." I mean, that would be such a loser thing to do.

*quickly runs over to newton*

*deletes macintalk*

thelip---- I don't think my wife would approve of me picking up girls with MY emate! She's funny about that kind of thing!

~coxy --- I know it isn't 68k but I figured if we have a forum for Newton then this would be allowable! Plus I just had to tell someone!

That's a DAMN interesting page, bith from the point of view of the multicolour eMate thng and the fact that the iBook was a pre-Jobs idea. I also looked at the list of stuff Dan O'Donnel (of Newton-Talk) sites that Steve Jons killed off at Apple and noticed that it includes phone support (presumably refering to support for non-Applecare customers) and quality control (creaking iceBook hinges anyone?). Makes me kinda mad....
