The 160 meg hard drive in the LCIII+ was killed after a power surge zapped it this morning, so expect many broken links on the hotline server, especially in the literature/manuals and whatnot. The feetsmac is now serving an active role in the hotline server effort.

Apple OEM hard drives! GRRRR!

The feetsmac has been removed from server duty, for now...

I put the full '040 from the q700 in the feetsmac, along with heatsink, and a 7200rpm 2.1gig hard drive.

Right now it doesn't have enough ram to run a unix system, so after I free up some extra power cords, the mirror server will expand by 2.1 gigs, probably as an upload dump or somethin...

Oh, btw, the server could go down at any moment. We have been having all kinds of power trouble around here. Anyone got an extra UPS lying around? I saw one in a cart of computer junk at work the other day, maybe i'll ask "da manager" about it...
