Yes, I know HOW... useing resEdit and such.

I want to know who HAS, and wht they have done.

I'm looking into useing AppleScript to programme an entire set of keys and combos to do work auto-magically.

What I'd LOVE would be to have 2 keyboards that the system recognizes independantly, and have different charachters on each.

i have, i did a custom CapsLock Table embedded numeric/cursor/pagenav keypad for using quicken, i can dig it out sometime if you wanna see it/try it.

if you want to have two layouts open at once on two different keybaords, a CapsLock Table on one with the standard table on the other might be the only way to easily accomplish it, btw.

I did this for my science project! I tested different alternative layouts of keys (Dvorak, Christopher Sholes Simplified, Alphabetical, and Random) to see which layout was easiest to learn. It turns out that the alphabetical layout, followed by the Dvorak keyboard, was the easiest to learn. I used ResEdit to change each of the layouts. Aside from that, I've never done any keyboard hacking.

I never thought of that... That'll work!

What if???...

There could be a setup to have a separate keyboard and mouse for each display (assuming more than one display) on one machine. I don't know what the use would be, but i think it'd be cool. But that would require 2+ mouse cursors and i just don't know why i even mentioned this other than it would be cool...
