I'm going to purchase a NewtonOS based device this summer, and I was wondering which Newton can play MP3's the best. (I'll be using this decoder.) Right now I'm looking at the MP 2100, but I was also curious about the eMate 300. Is it possible to get an MP3 decoder that works with the eMate? (I'm not buying a Newton just to play MP3's though)

Also, I'm assuming it's possible to plug headphones into a Newton.

Check out this site: http://www.pixell.net/doppler/newton/
And this one: http://40hz.org/MADNewton/
Only a 2xxx-series Newton can play MP3's, the others are not powerful enough.
