I had a very sad experience over the weekend. The Duo 280c, my pride and joy, a machine that I spent countless months and entirely too much money putting together, was destroyed by accidental contact with water (let's just leave it at that). I got kind of depressed, but I'm trying to move on, and the sooner I get rid of the body the better. So, take a look at my thread in the Trading Post and you can take it...just keep in mind all or some of the parts may be completely dead! 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 I Have No Legs! <marchie the bagpiper plays Flowers of the Forest/>And so ends the life of another 68k. May it enjoy eternal peace in Computer Paradise, where the SCSI chains of life are tossed away, keyboards are never grimey, and the Web is speedy. ~Chaplain Marchie Holder of the Compact Mac - -Stick of Justice, with Explodeing CRT head -Wand of Power with Shocking Flyback Transformer Tip ~~"We are all Mad here"~~ |
