Well, sorry to break the news, but i had to give the 8600 back today. I doubt it's a huge loss since nobody was using it. I honestly hadn't even tried to log on for a week or so so maybe it was being used, sorry i had no choice. I tried. I might get a 950 up and going as a server, but not for a while.

really? well, i'll email my friend and see if he can burn the stuff to discs. I'm sure it won't be a problem.

Good news, i suppose. The hard drive that had the files has been saved from format (i don't know why he wanted to format it, but i didn't ask) Soooo... i'll be putting the drive in my q650 asap and get it back up and going. I was thinking, since i have a limited amount of scsi hard drives, would it be better if i offered a theme of files instead. For example, all oses, or all audio, i was just thinking. Let me know what you think.

A good idea - we already have a main and a mirror server, why not make NSA hold a lot of Newton OS stuff? There's not too much on the others, after all.

My server has just been re-organized into a cluster consisting of the q700/contraband, iici, and LCIII+. Let me know how fast it is, and if there are any problems.

now I just need some more scsi hard drives... I only have a gig left.
