lookin' better and better, IIRC one of the worldclock sites had gps input data or something. maybe you could use that or a lat/long ref table/map site for positioning.is there any way to have your map come up as an overlay on a linked image of the worldclock site? it'd be really awesome to have a visual readout of the time across the globe and to see all the locations without as much projection distortion as they cross the noon point every day. i think they use a dynamically changing projection, if they don't it'd be cool to generate 360 projections and link to them either by time as the default setting or by user input of a variable. sounds like some kind of web page database thingie to me, dunno, it's all greek to me. just an idea, i like trying to figure out how to use this newfangled web crap! has anybody seen anything like i've described done before, i'd love to see how it works. jt ™. Trash Hauler: call sign: eight-ball C.O. come to think about it... maybe you should put our usernames on the map too. that might call for a bigger map though. It would however be convienient. and I have another idea, but it would be a bit hard to accomplish so I won't say unless you want to know._________________ Leutennant SCCHICAGO HotLineServer(closed): scchicago.dynodns.net Website(closed): http://scchicago.dynodns.net MyForumOnDelphi: http://forums.delphiforums.com/scchicago NOTE:HL AND HTTP SERVER ARE ONLY AVAILIBLE WHEN I'M ONLINE |

Also, I had been working on a member map from a while back, although, it is only for the US. I finally got it online.http://homepage.mac.com/captainz/68kmla/68KMLA_US/ Best if viewed in IE 5, but it probably will work in other versions and programs. Worcester and Boston are kinda far away from each other aren't they? I thought Boston was on the coast and Worcester was in the middle of the state? That leaves a pretty large area dosen't it? Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't live in New England. I just go up there to visit family now and then._________________ Leutennant SCCHICAGO HotLineServer(closed): scchicago.dynodns.net Website(closed): http://scchicago.dynodns.net MyForumOnDelphi: http://forums.delphiforums.com/scchicago NOTE:HL AND HTTP SERVER ARE ONLY AVAILIBLE WHEN I'M ONLINE |
