Free to a good home: AppleShare File Server version 2.0

This was sealed in it's box until I opened it to see what it was....

Required Equipment:
One dedicated Mac Plus, SE or II computer to act as server.
One Mac, MS-DOS (??) or ProDOS computer for each user on the network.
Appletalk network cables.....etc

Note: not compatible with Mac XL or 512k (although I think that they can be a client, not a server)

*reading the box* oh, OK it's a bit confusing but it looks like most old Macs can use this software one way or the other- old meaning everthing from the SE backwards to the IIe and IIgs. The box includes 5 disks (800k of course!) and three manuals.

The deal is that you can come pick it up (Sydney), or if you send me some dosh for postage I'll send it to you. Sorry, no international inquiries (it's just too much hassle- it's not like I'm making a profit!)

if you need more info, drop me a line VDU99@hotmail.com

cheers
Flash!

wasn't Marchie looking for any version of AppleShare?

(if it's for free, why don't you make disk images and up them to your iDisk!)

Hey, just to let all of you know, I found an original Apple floppy entitled "Network Products Installer" for the IIfx, IIci, IIsi and LC. It includes AppleShare Fileserver along with several other network protocols. Email me if you want me to describe to you what the label on the disk looks like.
