Found a new HL Server for 68K stuff. Check out 80.13.200.168 no logon/password required. The server is in France but the most of the software is english. The host is a very pleasant and he's got 7GB of free hard drive space for uploads...

damn firewall. HotLine dosen't work anymore.
I've tried tunneling through the HTTP proxy that I use for the browser and a SOCKS proxy. Neither seem to work with HotLine 1.8!!!!

What are you using as a router?

Try opening up the port (on the router) that you're requesting from. For example, if your machine is taking 192.168.1.111 then tell the server to open up port ..111 for port 5500 (i think that's hotline) or all ports or whatever. My linksys suck-cable/router makes this not TOO difficult, but that's all on a relative suck factor.

If that's what you were doing then i'm sorry to repeat, i'm not thinking real clearly right now.

I'm using the AnalogX software proxy. I don't have a hardware router. I do have 2 LinkSys Ethernet cards and a LinkSys Hub but that probably dosen't matter much.
