Ah, I recently got a duo 280c and dock. The problem is that I have no moniter cable to connect to my old 13" apple moniter to the dock (dbi-15) so I cannot get data to and from the duo;(

It is a great machine though. I cannot wait to see how escape velocity runs (if it runs at all!)

Look for a cable on eBay or something. They go pretty cheap, like $5 US for a 5 foot cable.

Now this won't hurt a bit. Until I jam this thing down your throat!

I assume it's the same type cable as for the 500 series? If so, then I know a place you can get it for AUS$10 (US$5) if you want to pay postage.

No, it uses a normal Mac DB-15 Mac video connector. I think the cable he meant was the one you use to connect an AppleColour High Res RGB Monitor or MultiScan display to the DB-15 port...those monitors don't have built in cables

Yea, I am talking about the normal db-15 monitor cables. If I am lucky I may be able to score one this weekend though. I hope they are not all out... It is a huge yard sale type thing and there are always old macs and different cables.

I have a monitor cable at home that you may be able to use. Later on today I'll have to check to see what the ends are, then I'll let you know.
