Here I am!I saw that auction...and i really thought about bidding it...but I live in KENTUCKY! However, if we have a member who does live in Minnesota, I will put up the initial bid, as long as I get the first pick of the lot. ------------------ MacMoose Benevolent Genius, 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 9 and counting ------------------

dang, i thought one of you guys was from minnesota! i think i remember somebody mentioning that, maybe it was in unplugged, dunno. i was gonna ignore this one and i just couldn't resist the temptation to do a post just like the last one! if you do start a consortium i'll tag along for the ride, but this one hasn't caught my fancy other than maybe an SE/30. if the piccies were better, it'd probably be another story alltogether, tho. jt ™. Arrgh! I'm within about three days drive... I wish I could just up and do a roadtrip!Problems, though: 1. I'd need to get time off work to do that; 2. I don't drive; 3. I have no money for expenses! How far is it to drive from Winnipeg to there? Because there's at least one person on the boards who's from the 'Peg... still have any contacts there?i'm not all that excited about this one, but it almost looks like there'd be enough to make it worthwhile to have a mover do a pickup. matter of fact! i know somebody who is an independent trucker, i wonder if it makes sense to try to develop contacts to find truckers to take on projects like this? hmmm, might not be worth is this time, but it is food for thought. hey, netpuppy! isn't justine or one of the other ladies from unplugged from up thataway? jt ™. Where exactly is this in minnesota? If it's southern I could maybe do this. I have a s-10 and a utility trailer. I'm in kansas, but the Minnesota border is about 8-9 hours away. I just don't know if i have time to ship all that. And the leftovers would be overwhelming. i'd probably get fired from my job if i asked for the weekend off, which wouldn't be a bad thing. Is there another mla member in the kansas city area that could sort this stuff out with me? Man, if i did this, my parents would kick mySgt. Sure I'd take a road trip, but I don't have a big enough vehicle that is road trip-worthy. The ol' S10 Blazer's gettin tired, she's got 181,500 on her. And the other vehicles around here are not large enough to haul mass quantities of Macs.macdaddy 68KMLA Field Meteorologist 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 68Ks at my base: Q840AV Q800 D280/DuoDock II P550 LCIII+ (2) LCIIIs IIci P410 LCII Mac II Contraband: (2) PM G3/300 MTs P6360 5400/120 Q700/PPC 601 (2) 6100/66s
