Now... I don't know if this is just me...but does the inside of an xServe look much like the inside of a Q605? There's something going on here. Drives/fan/motherboard/cpus/power supply/expansion cards... all in relatively the same place The xServe is misnamed. IT'S THE LONG LOST QUADRA 60500 dana (I didn't inhale, really...) |

You are right about that you know. Back when they introduced the Xserve, i was on morning tea at school, but i decided to go onto apple.com to see whats new anyway. Aaaanyway, i saw the Xserve, and went to its page, and saw that pic of the insides, and thought, "Well Apple really has, and finally, invented the iPizzabox."So you're not the only one to think this, nor did you go out for a smoke... -------------------------- Pizzabox LCs RULE!!!!!!! yah, but no FEETS! maybe it's the 605's arboreal offshoot.the REALLY cool thing about it for me, is that the 19" form factor seems to be nicely proportioned to serve as the innards of a Dual-G4 TiQuadraDrive 6600av if it were to suddenly find itself with a 4 or 6 part front bezel-n-feets! jt ™.
