I really need one but at a good price I live in Canada and I'd be willing to pay up to 20$ before shipping.

might wanna let us know what kind of slot the card is meant to plug into, what machine you need it for and maybe if you have preferences for 10baseT, Thin or Thick Net.

It is for a colour Classic I think the slot (this is from the apple specifications database) is a 1 LC PDS slot.
This is actually my first post and I just wanted to see what italics were likeGo to Top of Page

No problem! Actually, I need a LC PDS NIC, too! There's bound to be a few soldiers who have them available, though.

Ah, the joy of a first post. Mine seems like it was just last week.
oh.

Humans think they are smarter than dolphins because we build cars and buildings and start wars etc and all that dolphins do is swim in the water, eat fish and play around. Dolphins believe that they are smarter for exactly the same reasons. -Douglas AdamsGo to Top of Page

Speaking of Ethernet cards, I need one for a--dare I say it?--PPC Mac clone, a Umax C-500, a PCI card, natch.

I have an extra PCI 10/100-TX ethernet card, but I'm not sure that it will work in a Mac. It's presently inside a Pentium 1 IBM, but I'll try testing it in my 7500 to see whether Mac OS recognizes it.

Wow...almost $50 (with shipping) for one network card! Although, now that I have my 10/100 etherhub up and running, it would truly be worth it to have one in my Quadra 840av for transferring huge video files from it to my 7500 and back. Though, I still would need a 10/100 card in my 7500...hmmm....I may just have to keep that one I have for it...assuming it ctually works in MacOS, though.

Hey, JT, have you seen this? Take a real close look at the pic...I wonder, honest mistake or attempt at cashing in on deception?

dunno, it says to ignore the pic, could be the real deal. email the seller thru ebay channels with a link to the auction pic of the real one and ask for verification and an explanation! i'll bet they don't lie in the response . . . if you get one!

might be worth a shot, dunno, looks like an 8 bit ISA card to me, does that look like PCI to you? are you allowed to change an auction pic if you made an error or do you have to pull the auction and start from scratch?
