tonight I went to Wal Mart and was told that I was banned from entering the store becaus I "Dissed" their merchandise
( a few days ago while shopping there I was asked by a fellow customer as to my opinion of the current crop of consoles and I told her all I knew about the systems available )I humble request that you go to your local Wal Mart outlet and tell the Manager that you will no longer be shopping there because Melissa Ownby, manager of Store 1320 in Knoxville TN. wrongfully banned an acquaintance of yours

That's just plain rediculous, not to mention a violtation of your right to express an opinion about a prioduct or item. I too live in the UK and don't shop at ASDA as it's cheap in all the wrong ways (unlike Tesco). I would demand to see the manager and ask her to explain herself.--

Well, I'll go to WalMart and give them a piece of my mind, but I can't stop shopping there.... They've got cool stuff.... not the best, but I enjoy poking around in there.________________

There used to be this really cool site, www.walmartsucks.com, that had a forum of complaints from people who've visited Wal-Marts all over the country, but apparently it doesn't exist anymore. Maybe Wal-Marts lawyers had it taken down...?Also, I have a good friend who works at a Wal-Mart in Tennessee...I'm not sure whether it's the Knoxville store, though. She's not a manager or anything, though. When she get's on YIM I'll ask her... 666th poster and 666th thread-creator

Bizarre walmart fact: There's a guy who shops at walmart often, and he scans all of his receipts and posts them on his website. You can post comments on each receipt. Some get hundreds of comments. It's scary. You can find the site on google - "walmart receipts"{ candyPunk }

I would send them a registered letter to their legal department on how you were treated. This manager's behaviour is ridiculus. I have issues with Walmart on the quality of some merchandise. This manager is opening them up to one hell of a law suit. I am sure you will get a favorable response.
