I just finished a project to put a CompactFlash in my Apple IIe. It all started one day when I was playing around with my old apple II+ and it ate one of my floppies. (Actually the drive that did the eating was made by RANA, not Apple) I recovered the floppy after three days of hunting for "bag of tricks" but in the process I realized I wanted a mass storage device for my old Apple..... 3 months later and a lot of learning I have it. I had emailed you once before asking about Phase 2... I was able to work around not having Phase 2, by using the 7Mhz clock that is available on the bus and a D-FF. Anyway, I made a quick web page explaining the project. Check it out if you are not too busy...(yeah right) http://dreher.net/CFforAppleII
Take care,
Rich
