I've changed ISP's and so I've also had to move my web site. it's not quite there yet as I'm taking the opportunity to do some much needed editing. However the Mac Page (for all things Mac ) seems to get most of the traffic and can now be found here http://home.iprimus.com.au/brightnight/mac.htm

cheers

Thanks Firewire. The new and improved 68K MLA Website is now top of my Mac Resources list

Now that my Mac Page has nearly 100 links on it, i'm finding it a little hard to check/update of all the links every time I edit. So if you guys find any dead links, please let me know...

And for a bit of humour, check out my fun page

cheers

that's VERY COOL flash!

i wonder if it would be possible to fully emulate the early mac OS revs running macpaint and macwrite on a 128k, off an i disk with java or some such black art.

I would say that is possible, but out of the realms of my knowledge (I'm still learning html, java will have to wait) Just think, drop down menu's, closing the check box closes the window... etc Now that would be cool.

Seeing as this thread really is about my web site, I thought I'd continue....

I've just transformed my Mac page into pure 640x480 goodness so that it can be viewed at...well...640x480 of course. WooHoo! Click here for a peek.

I saw something like that done once. There is a working simulation of WindowMaker written entirely in DHTML. I think the link's still on the WindowMaker page.

The answer is Cmd-Shft-3.

One of the great features of the Mac is the old screen shot grabber. Just boot up your 128k, make your screens, and grab'em. (Biggest obstacle is getting the data from 400k floppies on to a bigger computer for creating the webpages.) Then you do a bit of Superpaint work to add some humor (a 1-bit dithered version of an OS X dock might be fun). It would be a hoot to see those teeny little 512x342 full-screen images on a big display (like a Cinema display)

I know this solution is not very elegant, but you could make a fun little sequence of screens for those in need of some 128k nostalgia.
