It might. I don't see the script for the peticular model that I'm looking for. However, there seems to be a generic driver although it may have just been a driver fix called "TelePort 56K V.90 Standard" Could this work?

Perhaps. Mac OS 8.1 has a whole list of modems with built-in support. I'm pretty sure there's a modem control panel or something...my 33.6k TelePort Platinum didn't need any additional drivers...
lemme check *starts up Quadra*
Well, there IS a modem control panel for 8.1...but I don't know what you're gonna do in 7.5.5...

unless you're using ARA there shouldn't be a need for any scripts or drivers. any dialup ISP will have its own driver for that modem or another one with the same chipset that will work. fax software might be another matter, but they usually have their own drivers too, AFAIK.

Yep, I've got an LC II running 7.5.5! I wonder if I install open transport if it will give me the modems control panel? Maybe you can stuff and upload all the modem stuff from OS 8.1. The OS 8.0 HFV image that I downloaded a long time ago didn't have many control panels, and the OS 8.1 update didn't install one either on my EMU-Quadra 605.
