WARNING! go make a sandwich time for dialup users who click this link! i don't think it'd be quite THAT bad, but it's worth the wait, don't spoil the discovery by clicking the shortcut link unless you have to!scroll down for zoom-in view series of map and sat imaging: http://seriot.ch/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=51&mode=thread&order=0 direct link to closeup shot of apple campus: http://www.seriot.ch/files/200205/infinite_loop/ila12.jpg jt ™. . p.s. does anybody have a lead on info about the topographic features visible in the shots of the Pacific? i've always been fascinated by the ability of the ocean going canoe navigators to read the surface of the ocean. another tidit imported from MacAch, i wana see Xerox PARC, i wonder if it's even there any more?after 9/11 i pieced together a huge image of where my brothers, my son and i were in relation to the WTC, three of us had the place surrounded. satellite imaging is amazing, the eeriest thing about it was that the towers and the shadows they cast on the hudson were so prominent in the graphic. *shudders* THAT was a scary morning. jt ™. . That's amazing! I saw a pic a couple years back that was taken from orbit- it showed a mans arm, with the sleeve rolled up, and you could easily read the time on his watch... now that's scary! As Bruce Wayne said (in that crappy batman movie with Ah-nuld): "Just don't aim it at my bedroom!"
