Hey- I've finally gotten one of my 'new' PowerMac 7600's up-and-running, only to find the hard drive is crippled with "FoolProof", which seems to be some sort of security program. If you know how to get rid of it without losing everything on the drive, please please let me know! Thanks, SpaceBoyAppleBASIC FOREVER! As of 4/8/02: TiBook G4/500, "Difference Engine" PB 1400/133, "KayPro II" PB 180/33, "Osbourne 1" PMac 7100/G3-266, "DEC Rainbow" and "Altair 8800" Quadra 950, "HAL 9000" iMac Rev.A/333mHz, "Deep Blue" Newton 120, "PADD" |

Try pulling out the hard drive and putting it in an external case, so you can remove the extention from another Mac.AnubisTTP 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Macs Liberated:15 |

yah! i think it's about time to add a multiple device internal SCSI cable and a "Y" power connection splitter to a "68kMLA-MASH Toolkit" to go along with the "field (medic's) kit" recommendations. Maybe an "Aid Station Toolkit" in between and a deluxe "Evac Hospital Toolkit" too, kind of like the way the tool magazines and books give tiered lists of tool recommendations. which forum would be best to start a thread for assembling lists? it should cover several areas like: Balloon Help, Software and Peripherals, and even tools for hacks and specifics like case crackers for compacts.maybe even a new forum for hardware medics or some such? dunno, just an idea (taken to an extreme ) jt ™. .
