FYI, this auction may not have any 68k goodies, but those who traffic in contraband may find a tidbit or two.

At Home at auction

Millions of dollars worth of furniture, computers and domain
names owned by Excite At Home will be included in an auction to
be Webcast this month. DoveBid Inc. will handle the sale of the
bankrupt Internet company's assets. "This premier dot-com
closure will enable buyers around the globe to access large
amounts of servers, routers, switches, laptops, computers,
monitors and printers," said Kirk Dove, president of auction
services at DoveBid. The 2-day sale will be Webcast at
http://www.dovebid.com/, beginning at 9 a.m., PDT, May 29.

Well, I took my own advice and visited Dovebid.com. It was both better and worse than expected. Bad news, very little Mac stuff about. But, I suspect there must be some Macs (I mean a major web outfit like Excite must have had some Macs), but its not in the online catalogs. Good news, they have auctions around the world (including a onthe Aussie side of the world) and an upcoming Apple auction/.

Happy Bidding,
