Macintosh OS 7.5 help with cd rom

Thunderbird1 Starting Member Australia 9 Posts	Posted - 15 May 2002 : 09:56:05 Hello again , I have a Mac IIci i can not get the cdrom to detect the only time it will is when i put the OS 7.5 cd in then it will. i have put the cdrom file in the right spot but when i restart it still dose not work with the OS .. its got me hope someone out there can help me becouse im pulling my hair out and there not much left. PS would os 9 work on Mac IIci with 16meg ram

PS would os 9 work on Mac IIci with 16meg ram you should only see it if a volume is mounted successfully from a ROM, what format ROM won't it read? have you tried several? don't even think about Sys. 8 rven if it'd work at all if you only have 16 megs! check applespec (in link on the web page here, get the manuals too!) for compatibilities, or lowendmac.com. jt ™. .
