SOUND ACCELERATOR CARD I (1988)

16 bit sound card for Macintosh II and Macintosh SE.
Can also be used with an adapter on a Atari STE.
The card is based on a motorola 56001 dsp with a 20 MHz clock rate.
The 20Mhz clock rate is similar to the Audiomedia I.
Capable of 44.1 kHz sampling rate in stereo 88.2 kHz in mono.
External disks can be used with the integrated SCSI interface.
Uses SMPTE for midi synchronisation

SOUND ACCELERATOR II CARD (1992)

This card is similar to the Sound Accelerator I but is clocked
at approx 33Mhz.
The 33Mhz clock rate is similar to the Audiomedia II.
It's a nubus card with optional digital/analogue audio
I/O unit available.
