Argh, why does MacTCP hate me and my Classic!? Here's the scoop:I have a Macintosh Classic running System 7.1 and 4MB RAM, and I'm trying to get MacTCP to run. Whenever I open it, it freezes up, and sometimes it displays an 'Out of Memory' error, but I have more then 2MB of RAM left! Does MacTCP even work with my system? And if it doesn't, is there other choices? ------------- Spring has sprung, fall has fell, winters here and it's colder then usual. Well, my Mac doesn't support VM. But good news! I just snagged me a Classic II, with a lot of interent software already on it, so I'll try that!------------- Spring has sprung, fall has fell, winters here and it's colder then usual. I've never used MacTCP, but my first excruciatingly obvious question is to ask if it behaves as a regular cdev, or launches as an application. If the latter, have you tried giving it more memory? |

Damn annoying indeed! Well, I'm coming closer to getting the Internet on this Classic II. Sorry if I haven't been around much!------------- Spring has sprung, fall has fell, winters here and it's colder then usual. Brigadier MacScuzzy 68K Macintosh Liberation Army Total 68K Macs liberated:5 |
