GhostImagewriter II?

I mean it all works but there is no ink or something to print with. the printer leaves an indentation on the paper but there is no ink left on the paper. Is there anything I can do about this? Anywhere I can get a new ink ribbon cartriage? If you have a ribbon cartridge that is getting a bit faint, here's a cheap trick to rejuvenate it. Open the ribbon cartridge -- the two halves are secured by a few little flexible locking plastic tabs. Using an eye dropper, scatter about 3-6 drops of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol but NOT minty/medicated rubbing alcohol) across the loops of the ribbon. Close the cartridge back up and let sit overnight. The alcohol will encourage ink from the unused portion of the ribbon to diffuse to the active printing area. I won't promise that this will make the ribbon "like new" but it should add another 20-30% to the life of the ribbon. After it fades a second time, you could try a second application of alcohol, but the results are not as good. One of those inkpads that is in there has disintegrated (that can't be good!).
