SB, how does the rom chip for your diablo II cd sound? I'll take a walk and open the cases to make doubly sure that the chips are in 'em but I'm almost certain that they are. They still have both ram and vram in them as well if interested. I'd say let's swap straight across, one dead, bare 7600 for a IIsi but that seems like a lot of shipping fees to me.

Hey-
Sounds pretty good! I agree, shipping a 7600 that may not even work is pretty risky, as it would cost a whole bunch. As for Diablo II, lemme check a few other possible sources, but I'll say a tentitive 'okay'. Would you be wanting the whole thing, or would an, err, 'backup copy' of the game suffice?
Thanks,
SpaceBoy

guess i really should use these glasses a little more often, sure didn't want to start up a whole new thread!

okay, you want the chip but not enough to do that kind of trade, eh? tell you what, i have no use for it at all nor any of the ram in either machine. i'll just bag the whole mess, boards and all and send it to you if you are going to put it to some kind of use. besides, the last two so-called, "trades" i have been involved in here have resulted in me boxing and mailing stuff across country for ab-so-lute-ly nothing in return so it ain't like I'm expecting to actually get anything regardless of agreed upon deal. nothing personal, mind you, i just don't have too much faith in this little crowd anymore.

Jeez, that stinks! I won't stiff you, whatever we end up trading. How 'bout you email me at huckdunsany-at-hotmail.com, and we'll work this out. By the way, what part of the world are you in? Just wondering how much shipping will cost...
Thanks again,
SpaceBoy
