Notice the two things that are off:
1) The Mac 512K/512Ke models had a model number of M0001W. The Mac 128K had M0001 (as shown on back of Amber CRT). Also, it would say "512K" on back under the model number.
2) The back logo is not right. On the Mac 512K and Mac 512Ke, it had a "Macintosh 512K" on the back top left corner. This has just "Macintosh", which was only done on the Mac 128K.

Now this could be an upgraded 128K that was repackaged into a Mac 512K enhanced box, The amber color of the screen could easily be due to screen burn in, but it could be due to something else... I don't know. I feel that the owner is trying to put a fast one on a bunch of people.

This one is on my friend's site. Apparantly tripod doesn't allow remote image links. Losers. How's that screen look? Is it just me or does it have the same screen showing as the amber one? Aren't those the same windows, in different colors? What's with the little blue border around the screen? It's pretty obvious that they aren't the same computer, but the similarity in screens has me wondering what's up

i saved it into my hoaxmac collection folder! opened it up and it's so crude at high magnification that i can't tell anything from the pic.

it would be interesting to know how much he thinks that rare (the IIe card is a $10 buy me now item) LC IIc card is worth!
