well... after the disappointment over the LC 580's at school, I was working on my friend's Eagle scout service project today and he said he had two old Macs he never used for anything important... a Performa 550 and a Performa 575. He said he'd give me one of them (not sure which) thats in his closet floor unused. Monday evening he's bringing it over for me! yay I'm pretty sure it's going to be the 550 because he said it had OS 7.1 P5 on it

I'd call it a liberation, because you didn't really have to fight for it.
