I saw this on ebay and took a look at it. Normally another black set top box would not have been that interesting to me, but you can clearly see in the picture, that this STB has an ultra rare STB video card in it. I know of no other of these cards to be in existance, and had heard that they were so rare that they make the STB itself look dirt common.

Normally I would be all over an auction like this, but I imagine a bidding war will raise the price to something insanely high.

Those are nifty little machines. But even if it has that "ultra-rare" video card in it, who says that it'll even work!

That little black strip in the middle with the Apple logo looks a wee suspicious...then again, I really don't know much about STBs...

Yeah the black square on the front with the Apple logo is the window for the IR reciever. In the picture, it also appears that the RF IN port has been covered up with a big plastic cap. Hmmm.

I'm watching this Auction, to see how high it'll get.

Is anyone else planning on bidding on it? I don;t think we need to up the price against each other.

I was not planning to bid on it. If the guy was selling the video card alone, I might bid on that, but with Hamvention coming up I can not afford to spend 50 dollars on another set top box, no matter how rare the video card in it is. I know a friend of mine who also has a few set top boxes and who might bid on it, but I have not talked to him for the past few days, so I do not know if he is actually going to bid on it.
