For all of those people that don't have real 68k macs, are unwilling to buy them, just plain can't find them, or are forced to use PCs at work, I propose the "68k Macintosh Emulation Forum". to help members with emulation troubles.

What do you all think?

EXACTLY!!!
The miracle of 68k software brought to the Intel platform!
I personally run these builds of Basilisk II:

Basilisk II 1.0 JIT for Linux
Basilisk II 0.9 for BeOS
Basilisk II 0.8 JIT for Windows
Basilisk II 0.8 for Windows

I've had a lot of trouble with SoftMac (no sound support and there never will be!).
FusionPC isn't bad though (requires DOS).

I think this was brought up in the discussions to create the UNIX forum... That it might be better to make it the Alternate OS forum. I think I supported the idea at the time.

Right n ow however, if you think about it, almost ALL the alternate OSes are *NIX ones, with the exception of MagicMac or whatever i t is... Linux, *BSD, A/UX, Minix, NeXT (on Black hardware).

Mac OS Emulation should be in the Baloon Help forum if thereareproblems.

Okay, sounds good enough. I just was thinking that people might not know where to look for EMU help if a place wasn't right in front of their face.
