this sounds a lot easier to me than umpty-seven floppies!

you can get some nice 68k Periperals to go with it too!

LC II as external drive case?

i picked one up at a thrift store today, gd pos works! is it ok to put an LC II down? it's gotta be a miserable life on a 16 bit data bus! can i disembowel the pathetic little pos and hack it or do i have to wait for it to die?

Y'know how in The Matrix, "The dead are liquified to be fed intravenously to the living" ??

I kinda take that approach to some of the 68k Macs.

If you pick one up, and cannibalize it for parts to make other Macs more useful, everything is cool.

An LC II isn;t much of a system, although good for Data Aquisition, if you have the externals (we used LCIIs for light sensors at school, that could do things like measure the speed of an object t raveling along the sight axis)

If the floppies were uploaded then EVERYBODY could take advantage of them!

I think that you should wait until it dies to hack it.
This is just because your LC II beats my LC.
