in the abandoned buildings on a college campus. I just acquired a complete set of user manuals and software for a Classic II, still in the shrink wrap. There was some other stuff, but I might get fired if I take it. My boss might not like it.

I'd hope ifya asked, they'd be ok with you taking it - even something that relatively 'rare' isn't worth too much monetarily - but for us 68k'ers it's an irresistable piece of novelty!.

dana (with a mint set of 605 install disks, a mint IIci users manual, and 2 boxes of localtalk adaptor bits... one shrinkwrapped - just cos!)

edit: whoops. I misread. you got the manuals but not the other stuff. ohwell. bonus anyhows!

Actually, I looked around for quite awhile. Here's a list of what I found.

The shrink wrapped copy of the Classic II documentation/software.
A non-shrink wrapped copy of the same.
Three Classic II style microphones, one of which was still shrink wrapped.
Two SmallTalk(?) connectivity kits, one of which was still shrink wrapped.
One local talk adapter.
A platinum, SCSI auto-eject 3.5" floppy drive.
A whole bunch of random software ranging from MacWrite to PageMaker.

I only took what I did, because I figured that's the most my boss would let me have. When I asked all he did was look for a university invoice number, then said OK. I figure I can get more of it later.

Nice one! I have a lot of 'mint' stuff, but none in shrinkwrap...
There's a secondhand dealer here with a shrinkwrap machine, you wouldn't believe the prices they charge for things!
