Holy Moly! I've got my crosshairs set on this pristine Plus!! The best part? The seller is local, right here in North Hollywood! I can cash my paycheck and pick up the little bugger right after work!!

Best of all, it comes with an Uber-Rare system saver and a (DB-9?) trackball!! Hot dog!!

Okay, maybe not...it's going a little bit high. I'm not going to sock out more than $30 for it...

AHHHHHHH!!!!

I won it!! Now I have to explain to my wife why $30 is missing from my paycheck....hmmmm...flat tire? Nah...emergency rations? Maybe...generous gift to a homeless transient? Yeah, that's believable!

P.S. - I was just looking at the seller's eBay ID....hmmmm, kinda odd...I think I'll have to report back to you folks about meeting and buying the Plus from "ambisextress"!!

Nice. Platinum Plus. It's unfortunate that the trackball is beige, though.

System Savers are rare? Didn't know that. Now I shall hold on to mine with my life!

It took some effort not to use elipses in this post.

Well, I guess they're not that rare, but you sure don't see 'em everyday...I think the other brand was more rare though, I forgot the name. The one that was flush with the top of the Plus case.

Anyway, I'm going to pick it up it up this afternoon, and the money situation is OK!!

I just IM'ed the seller, and I'm shotting over there in about an hour to pick it up. How odd, the seller is only 3 miles away from my office! What a coincidence, huh??

Alright! I got it! It's in beautiful condition.

Only bad thing is I got a traffic ticket on my way back to the office, turned left at an intersection on a green light when I was only supposed to turn on a green arrow...didn't see the sign proclaiming such...poop.

Didn't want to start a new topic for it, but this one seemed perfect.

Just scored a Mac Plus in perfect condition with all the original software, manuals, and the original Imagewriter. All for the great wonderful price of $15.00. My wife thought I lost my mind by adding yet another computer to the collection. My responce?.....I'm going to make a small Mac museum when I finish off the attic. Gotta love it!!!!
