In continuation of an earlier thread, I'll probably take Cinemafia's advice and go with a little RAID action on my Quadra. Any suggestions on what software I should use that won't tax my resources too much? I think I still have a copy of AppleRAID floating around on an old WGS CD, but that might be PPC only, and it's currently 1200 miles away, so kind of difficult to test While I may have to use 8/8.1, anything that also runs under 7.6 would be preferable. Thanks!
Oh, btw, I will be using an ATTO SE IV, if that makes a difference.

The two best apps to use are:

FWB RAID Toolkit and Connely SoftRAID.

I use FWB R/T on my 840av, and it's a very good system. SoftRAID tends to get better transfer speeds, or at least that's what I've read, but I have so far not been able to find a 68k version of it. I have SoftRAID 2.2, but it's PPC only. I'm pretty sure that SoftRAID 1.x is 68k, though.

Anyway, you can download FWB RAID Toolkit off our (or Retromac's) Hotline server, or if I get off my lazy bum I can upload it to my iDisk or something later today.
