I was thinking of sniping at this one, are these cards and the bundled Premier 4.0 software worthwile, what do these usually go for on eBay? so far all i've got is the 630 system that's currently in my 6360. will this card be a HUGE improvement if i ever decide to play with video on my 466, sounds like it from what info i've found. does anybody know if the breakout box is the same for both cards. tia jt  ™. . The Video Vision Studio is a very good system, essentially the same as a Quadra 660av or 840av with a SpigotPro/SpigotPower AV card (only with the additional convenience of the external patch bay). As I remember correctly, the patch bay was the same for both the PCI and the Nubus versions of the card. I didn't get Premier with it, but I did peg a NuBus board and breakout box last night for $60.  I'm not sure I'd spend much more than 100 on the PCI version, but it depends on how much you need it... Breakout boxes alone don't usually go for much ~US$25 (I think probably because there was a nasty tendency to fry the PCI/NuBus board with these if you connect the breakout box when the computer is on - hence a surplus of breakouts) |
