iCab keeps crashing my LCIII as soon as it loads any page. so, basically, it's no good. older versions of it used to work ok, but i cant find any around. are there any other good web browsers that will run on my computer? i usually use maclynx, but it wont handle the page i need to load (or rather, it wont submit forms correctly).Performa 630 Quadra 610 LCIII SE |

I've noticed that iCab crashes a lot on all of my 68k's, so I've been using Netscape 4.08 exclusively. It packs a good assortment of features into one app, too (browser, email, html composer...)!666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Regular Disappear! |

Netscape and IE 4 both have 68k versions, but I find that the most efficient browser is IE 3. It has good compatibility (except with some javascript here and there) and runs quickly. Very quickly. Give that a try too. It's on the hotline server.{ candyPunk } { Captain of Observation, 68k MLA } { 68k Macs liberated: 3} { My baby: Q660av } |
